The College of Management has been established for 23 years since 1998, laying a solid foundation and reputation under the leadership of successive deans. After the merger of the College of Finance and the College of Management on August 1st this year, the organizational structure of the entire College of Management has become larger and more complex, covering 3 campuses, including 8 departments, 1 independent institute, 120 full-time faculty members, and over 4500 students. It is urgent to more actively and effectively integrate the resources, teaching, and laboratory fields of each department. In addition to providing professional management knowledge and assisting in school development, it is also important to combine alumni and various resources, strive to promote industry-academia exchanges, strengthen interaction with society, and fulfill social responsibilities.
Pursuing excellence and expanding influence is crucial for the College of Management, and the key lies in the faculty of the college. The College of Management has the responsibility to create a good working environment and platform, providing sufficient support in teaching and research, allowing faculty to focus on nurturing talent, creating knowledge, and realizing ideals. The College of Management must be able to attract, cultivate, and retain talent with a good working environment to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and highly competitive environment.
In terms of promoting international exchanges and international industry-academia cooperation, enhancing students' international mobility, and attracting outstanding foreign students, obtaining AACSB accreditation is a key competitive advantage. The College of Management obtained AACSB accreditation in 2019 and will continue to improve in the future, accepting the challenge of AACSB's Continuous Improvement Review (CIR). The College of Management has been committed to internationalization for many years, signing student exchange or dual degree programs with many universities abroad, cultivating students' broad international perspectives. Therefore, under the Ministry of Education's policy of promoting bilingual universities, the College of Management will undoubtedly play a more important role, working together with other colleges to achieve the school's three major goals of internationalization: optimizing the learning environment for international students, enhancing the international mobility of faculty and students, and increasing international influence.
