1995 - College of Management
The College of Management was established in July 1995, originally known as the National Kaohsiung Institute of Technology Business/Service Cluster. It was officially established as the College of Management when it was renamed National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology in 1998. On August 1, 2021, the College of Finance and Banking was merged into our college. With a strong foundation of well-developed departments (Ph.D. Program in Management, Institute of Technology Law, Executive Master of Business Administration, Executive Master of Business Administration in Business Management, International Master of Business Administration, Master of Entrepreneurship, Department of Information Management, Department of Logistics Management, Department of Marketing and Distribution Management (established in 1996), Department of International Business, Department of Business Administration, Department of Risk Management and Insurance, Department of Finance, Department of Financial Management) and more outstanding teaching talents, our college has become a cradle for cultivating important management talents in the country.
2006 - College of Finance and Banking
The College of Finance and Banking was established in the 2006 academic year, being the first specialized finance and banking college in the country. In addition to the original Department of Finance, Department of Risk Management and Insurance, and Department of Financial Management, it also added the Department of Accounting Information, Ph.D. Program in Finance and Banking, and Master of Information Finance Program. However, due to the merger of three schools, the College of Finance and Banking was integrated into the College of Management on August 1, 2021. It continues to aim at cultivating outstanding senior research talents.
